Duelix is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or operated by Konami or the owners of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. Any references to historical formats, descriptive terms, or compatibility exist only to provide technical context.

The core experience distributed by Duelix works in Safe Mode, using safe and generic identifiers and visuals that are sufficient for gameplay. The game does not depend on Duelix distributing official card images, official names, or official card descriptions.

When a player chooses to add and activate a compatible external source, card names, descriptions, and images are displayed only for that specific user. External source setup is individual, optional, and is not automatically applied to all players.

Duelix does not distribute third-party protected content as its own library and does not guarantee title or rights over material displayed through external integrations chosen by the user. The player is responsible for using only external sources they are authorized to access and use lawfully, in compliance with the source's own terms and any applicable third-party rights. If an external source is removed, disabled, or unavailable, the experience returns to Safe Mode.

For technical and security reasons, compatible external sources may go through proxying, caching, thumbnail optimization, and CDN delivery to reduce latency, avoid heavy reprocessing, and improve availability. This treatment is purely operational, does not change ownership of third-party content, and does not mean Duelix is editorially distributing that content. The base game remains free, and donations exist only to support servers, infrastructure, and development.

Duelix treats game logic as a generic set of TCG rules, flows, and abstract mechanics, separate from third-party expressive content. Trademarks, commercial names, artwork, and text remain with their respective owners. The landing page displays an 18+ rating, and chat and donations are restricted to adults in line with the protection measures for children and teenagers in digital environments established by Brazilian Law No. 15.211/2025 (Digital Child and Adolescent Statute, publicly known as Lei Felca).
